the unexpected - Leo/Allison
This thing between them had been going on for a few months, she'd spent the night at his place, she had called him up for a date, he'd cooked for her even. Well he'd tried to cook for her, she wasn't sure if he was a bad cook or just nervous but it had ended with them laughing over pizza and a whole lot of long slow kisses.
It shocked her that she was enjoying that part of things maybe even more than the sex. Just being with him, having fun with him, watching vids or just hanging out. Allison had been shocked to discover how much she liked his company and how he had changed her outlook.
It had started out heated, well face it she'd pretty much assumed she'd never see him again so why not, right? But he hadn't just taken the cold should hint and given up. He'd stuck around and eventually she'd given in, she was glad she had. Leo wasn't what she'd first thought at all, he was more than that and when she was with him she was starting to see things down the road.
She never saw plans with anyone before. Not since her parents died and she was shipped off to the system. Things changed too much, people came and went in life and the most you could hope for was to grab a couple good days before they were gone. But he wasn't gone. When she called she knew he'd answer, or at least call her back without fail.
This was different. He was different. So maybe it was time she did some things differently. She'd left him the message about a date and to meet at her place. The later was rare, but he'd been there once or twice before, never overnight though. She hadn't left any details, just the date, time and location.
She waited for him, tank top and cutoff jeans, no make-up and hair just casually loose. Not her club outfits, not lingerie or nude. Just very casual. She opened the door when he chimed. "Come on in." She kissed his cheek as he entered and waited for him to ask, she knew he had to be burning up by now, just what was she planning?

She was a private person. In the beginning it felt like he'd surprised her each time he got back to her, like he was going to vanish into thin air. Sometimes he felt like half their relationship was him proving he wasn't going anywhere. As they got to know each other though, he started to understand the reasons for it.
It still amused him... how backwards things between them seemed to have worked. Usually, you assume you get to know someone before the hot and heavy stuff. Assumptions didn't work very well with either of them. He was more than grateful for it. He wouldn't have met her otherwise... that one chance encounter that turned into something so much more. He wouldn't change it.
Even if it means he has no idea what to think of the message he got from her. Is it good? Is it bad? He doesn't think it's bad... things have been great between them as far as he can tell... what if it's bad? It can't be bad or she wouldn't have called it a date.
Right?
"Hey." He smiles at the kiss. Okay, sure... it's on the cheek and he's trying not to overthink things... she not dressed to go out and... don't assume shit. NO need to panic, he's just insanely curious.
"So, uh... what's up?"

He looked like she was about the beat him up and steal his wallet or something, he swallowed too nervously and was trying very hard to act casual about it. She sighed, yeah she knew this was because of her. Allison closed the door behind him and took his hands in her own.
“Don’t look so scared, this isn’t anything bad and I’m not dumping you or anything.” Even if she was she wouldn’t have done it all cryptically like this. Which made her laugh. “If I was it would be public and loud, you know me.” It was true, she had no problem making a scene.
“Just,” She looked over and pulled him to the small couch and “Ok, so… I have this thing. I just take charge. I can’t help it I’ve been like this as long as I can remember. I’ve always just decided what was going on and how and it was like my comfort zone; I have to be the one to direct things.” None of this was news to him, he’d been living it for months.
“I guess you could say it’s a control thing. And it has never been an issue because, well… no one has stuck around long enough for it to bother me.” But Church had turned a lot of things on their ear for her. “So, what I’m trying to say is I wanted to have a date to do what you want. So, tonight Leo, you get to decide what we do.”
She was not quite done, but she paused to breathe deeply. “You get to pick what we do, where and for how long. Your choice of what I wear and all of it. Tonight you get to be the director.”
